Peggy is uniquely positioned to offer the ability to sell and buy art on the same platform. Better yet, artists and galleries receive royalties on every secondary sale.
If you have set an ask price and you receive an offer that is equal to or above the price, an automatic 24-hour auction countdown will initiate, resulting in a winning buyer.
If you did not set an ask price or receive an offer below your ask price, you'll have the ability to accept or decline offers. An auction will not begin if an offer is not accepted. A collector will be able to make an offer on any artwork - whether or not you have set an ask price for your artwork on Peggy.
Once an offer is confirmed, a 24-hour auction countdown will start so other collectors can make offers. After each additional offer, 24-hours are added to the clock. This allows other Peggy collectors the opportunity to make an offer so that no one gets left out.
Once the countdown is over, it will confirm the artwork as sold to the individual with the highest offer and initiate the shipping process with our shipping partner.
You'll receive a payment for the artwork sold once the new buyer receives and authenticates the artwork with a digital fingerprint.
